Bob Taylor has assembled his "guitar-building dream
team" that will build about 300 guitars a year. After
more than 30 years in the business, Taylor Guitars has amassed
an unimagineable supply of wood and an experienced group
of incredible craftspeople. Initially R. Taylor Guitars will
offer one body shape referred to as "Style One" with
four base models. The wood combinations are Mahogany/Cedar,
Indian
Rosewood/Cedar,
Indian Rosewood/Sitka Spruce and Big Leaf Maple/Sitka Spruce.
The rest is up to you. Select from two top bracing patterns,
two top geometries (flat or 65' radius), standard or short
scale, two nut widths and three neck shapes; all options
at no extra charge! Or if you'd like you can upgrade to some
of the best Madagascar Rosewood, Cocobolo, Brazilian Rosewood,
AA or Master Grade Koa for the back and sides. Top upgrades
include Swiss Alpine Moon Spruce, Engelmann Spruce and Adirondack
